Setting us apart from our competitors is our people.If you're looking for a place where your hard work and great ideas make a difference-NIBCO is the place for you.POSITION INFO:This position is in the Nacogdoches Maintenance Department and reports to the 1st Shift Maintenance Supervisor.This position is primarily responsible for providing service to the Machine Shop and Assembly Departments through lubrication and preventative maintenance, and/or any other duties as assigned by supervisor.RESPONSIBILITIES:Daily housekeeping activities.Daily safety checks for unsafe acts and conditions.Work closely with production associates and supervision to fill their needs to accomplish highest production efficiency.EXPERIENCE:One year maintenance experience is preferredEDUCATION:GED or High School Diploma perferredTRAINING AND SKILLS:Must be able to read and understand MSDS sheetsDemonstrated mechanical aptitudeMust have the tools listed on MM040 "Required Maintenance Tools"PHYSICAL DEMANDS / ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:Ability to continuously stand or walk.Ability to bend, squat, & lift < 35 pounds frequentlyAbility to climb stairs occasionallyAbility to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.Ability to move rolling product cart > 150 pounds occasionallyThis is a manufacturing environment with minimal climate control.Ability to work in a hot environment.NIBCO is committed to equal opportunity employment.
