Responsibilities

  • Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans following health and safety standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, sinks, dishwashing machines, and storage areas
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies or prepping ingredients when needed
  • Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for service
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards across the kitchen
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely clearing of tables and bussing duties during service periods
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a tidy workspace to prevent accidents or contamination

Requirements

  • Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
  • Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and food handling safety regulations
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or moving heavy items
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or during busy event times as needed
  • Previous experience with bussing, food preparation, or banquet service is a plus but not mandatory
