Job Description

As a Security Officer - Flex Auto Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. You will interact with employees and visitors, delivering outstanding customer service while responding to incidents as needed. This position requires driving as part of your responsibilities. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the automotive facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help to deter security-related risks.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized persons on the premises.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
  • Support site-specific security-related operations and contribute to a secure environment for all personnel and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
