Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Front-End / UI Designer to join our team. This role is responsible for crafting visually compelling, user-centered digital experiences across web pages, microsites, and email campaigns. The ideal candidate blends design aesthetics with front-end development fundamentals to produce clean, responsive, and accessible interfaces.
This role is ideal for someone who is visually creative, technically curious, enthusiastic about clean design, and energized by solving user interface challenges. If you enjoy blending aesthetics with code and love staying ahead of digital trends, you will be a great fit.
Essential Job Duties:
- Design and build visually appealing web pages, landing pages, and microsites.
- Create email templates and custom email designs that reflect brand standards and drive engagement.
- Ensure all designs and front-end builds provide cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
- Optimize websites and templates for speed, efficiency, and strong performance.
- Follow and enforce web accessibility standards to create inclusive experiences for all users.
- Implement, configure, and maintain content management systems (CMS) as needed.
- Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate UI designs with functional systems.
- Stay current with industry trends, front-end technologies, and evolving design methodologies.
- Apply UX principles and best practices to guide design decisions and user flows.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for front-end development.
- Knowledge of responsive web design and mobile-first principles.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks.
- Experience with version control systems.
- Understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA compliance).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A mindset of continuous learning to stay up‑to‑date with emerging technologies and design trends.
Reporting Relationships:
- Reports to Manager, Creative Services
- Collaborate with digital managers, project managers, and creative team members
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe XD, Figma and Mac OS
- Experience working with marketing automation platforms like Pardot or Marketo
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work during standard business hours – onsite and remotely as directed by business
- Ability to sit at a computer workstation for extended periods.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
Compensation:
Compensation Range: $57,000 - $65,000
Actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on a number of variables including work experience, education and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer. This position is not eligible for a variable pay component as part of the hiring range.
