We have a full time position available for an RN that WANTS to focus on Infection Prevention and Wounds within a healthcare setting. Hours are primarily Monday through Friday, however, this individual does participate in on-call rotation and periodic Manager on Duty assignment.

As an Infection Preventionist, the successful candidate not only works with managing infections within the facility and the antibiotic stewardship program, but also audits and monitor infection control processes in all departments. In order to ensure consistency of IP processes throughout all departments, this individual will also want to monitor on weekends and night shift periodically.

We are a medium sized skilled facility that enjoys a stable census and staffing.

Successful candidates MUST have a desire to work with infection prevention. As a minimum, individual must complete the CDC Training for Infection Preventionist, then additional training will be required and on-going. Leadership skills are imperative as this position is integrated with every aspect of the facility.

Starting wage is determined by license classification and years of experience. The RN starting wage is between $33/hr and $35/hr. Actual starting wage is determined by years of experience ($.10 additional per year of experience up to 20 years).
