Surgery Veterinary Technician, FCVS

First Coast Veterinary Specialists & Emergency located in Jacksonville Beach, FL is searching for a Veterinary Technician to join our Surgery Service

Compensation: $24 - $26/hr, based on experience and applicable licensure

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts, Day shift. Participation in rotating on-call weekends and holiday schedule required.

Requirements for the Role:

Minimum of 2 years working as a veterinary technician, anesthesia experience required. CVT or VTS certification is prioritized.A strong skillset and veterinary knowledge base, including restraint, venipuncture, phlebotomy, anesthesia monitoring with experience in calculating and delivering anesthetic agents, diagnostic imaging, laboratory equipment and procedures, etc. Attention to detail, with strong communication skills with both clients and team membersFluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus
