About this role:
This Certified Nurse Midwife will join Layton Parkway Women's Health. Our midwives provide comprehensive health care for women, with a particular emphasis on wellness and patient choice. We support patients across their lifespan and in their childbirth decisions, including with low intervention options.
The CNMs provide gynecologic and obstetric care in clinic, attend births, and round with patients in hospital. Our CNMs work at the top of their scope of licensure, admitting, caring for, and discharging patients from inpatient care. We work in a highly collaborative model, consulting and supporting one another on a consistent basis.
This is a PRN opportunity, meaning hours worked will vary dependent on your availability & department needs, but may include weekday shifts, after-hours, weekend, and holiday call time.
What you'll bring:
Current Utah state license as a Certified Nurse Midwife
Certification as a Nurse Midwife
Eligible for State Controlled Substance License II through V.
Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate II through V.
BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.
Preferred: 2+ years experience full scope as a CNM
Preferred: experience with water births
