Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a welding or manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 1 year quality experience required

  • Perform in-process and final dimensional inspections of welded components, including acceptance or rejection decisions.
  • Continue to develop inspection skills through on-the-job training and studying company quality procedures.
  • Perform weld repair processes such as defect excavation, evaluation, inspection, and PT testing.
  • Review NDE and PWHT (Post Weld Heat Treatment) documentation for accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Conduct welding audits, document findings, and correct issues as they arise.
  • Assist in the generation of non-conformance documentation for submittal to customers.
  • Support and participate in the training process, including maintaining required training documentation.
  • Understand and support the review and approval process of job order documentation.
  • Help maintain strong, professional relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and confidence in our quality standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications:

  • Level II certification in MT and PT (required).
  • Understanding of NDE processes, PWHT, and quality inspection procedures.
  • Some dimensional inspection experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Effective team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, weld symbols, and specifications.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
Experience

  • 5 - 8 years: relevant work with and around NDE
