We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes according to our recipes, ensuring that food is cooked properly and presented attractively. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, cutting, and measuring.
  • Cook and assemble dishes upholding Schulson Collective standards.
  • Monitor inventory and replenish supplies as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Adhere to Schulson Collective policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Prep and store food items properly to prevent spoilage and contamination.
  • Work efficiently under pressure and maintain a positive attitude during busy periods.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a line cook required.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred.
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
  • Food handler's permit or certification preferred.
