The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of electrical principles and a willingness to learn on the job.

Duties

  • Assist electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial settings.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
  • Help frame carpentry work as needed to support electrical installations.
  • Follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Use voltmeters and other testing equipment to assist in troubleshooting electrical issues.
  • Support the installation of both low voltage and high voltage systems under supervision.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.

Requirements

  • Experience with hand tools and power tools commonly used in electrical work.
  • Ability to work effectively on construction sites, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Willingness to learn from experienced electricians and take on new challenges.
