Job Summary

As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care. You'll deliver high-quality preventive care and educate patients on oral health practices.

What you'll do

  • Perform through dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar.
  • Taking X-rays
  • Periodontal Charting
  • Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
  • Utilize dental software for documentation and record-keeping.
  • Implement aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment.
  • Review medical records and documentation to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Basic qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy.
  • CPR Certified
  • Dental Hygiene License in state of Florida

Preferred qualifications

  • Previous experience in a dental clinic or office setting.
