Job Summary: Maintain and repair all irrigation sprinkler heads, underground breaks and leaks at villages, club and POA areas to meet Harbour Ridge specifications and standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:

  • Repair and maintain all aspects of the irrigation system in a safe and professional manner.
  • Report all needed parts and supplies to the Director when inventory is low.
  • Organize tools, shovels and supplies for daily work activity.
  • Record the daily number of gallons of water used per irrigation cycle (in the absence of the Lead Irrigation Technician).
  • Conduct maintenance checks to ensure the development of new sod, landscape plant material and trees. Assure that the watering takes place on a timely basis.
  • Prepare sprinkler system when homeowners conduct construction or renovations to their homes. Locate heads and lines where applicable.
  • Follow all verbal and written instructions for repair work on irrigation system.
  • Maintain flexible schedule for "service calls" if irrigation issues arise after normal working hours.
  • Process irrigation time clocks for shipping and repair.
  • Repair large underground main breaks.
  • Prepare weekly reports for work hours and areas completed.

Job Requirements include the following, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct the day-to-day operations of the Grounds Maintenance department in a business-like, ethical and professional manner.
  • Strive to exceed customer service expectations of members, guests and associates.
  • Maintain good working relationship with club members, employees and all customers.
  • Possess the ability to follow supervisor's instructions for safety habits.
  • Maintain working knowledge of Harbour Ridge property.
  • Dress appropriately for the position.
  • Establish a record of good work attendance and reliability.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in work habits and work schedule.
  • Use time effectively.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures as established in the Employee Handbook or as demonstrated as common practice.
  • Seek to improve self in knowledge and skills.
  • 3 years minimum field experience.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has potential for a supervisory position.
