Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in the Greater Chicago Area.

As a Human Resources Director, you will oversee HR processes, policies, and strategies to support organizational goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws, implementing HR policies, and driving performance management processes across the organization. You will work closely with department heads and leadership to foster a positive and productive workplace culture.

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in Human Resources (HR), including workforce planning, recruitment, and talent management.
  • Strong knowledge of HR Policies and processes to develop and enforce organizational standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in Employee Relations and handling workplace concerns with effective conflict resolution.
  • Proficiency with Performance Management activities, including goal setting, employee evaluations, and continuous feedback structures.
  • In-depth understanding of Labor and Employment Law to ensure organizational compliance and legal risk mitigation.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degree or certifications like SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred).
  • Experience in staffing, recruiting, or facilities-related industries is a plus.
  • Bilingual in Korean a PLUS.
