Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dismantler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for disassembling various types of vehicles and equipment, ensuring that all parts are handled with care and efficiency. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with a variety of tools. The Dismantler will play a crucial role in our operations, contributing to the overall productivity and quality of our services.

Duties

  • Disassemble vehicles and equipment systematically, ensuring that all components are removed without damage.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to perform dismantling tasks.
  • Inspect parts for quality and functionality, identifying any components that can be reused or recycled.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
  • Document dismantling processes and maintain accurate records of parts removed.

Skills

  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of vehicle maintenance.
  • Ability to operate an ohmmeter for testing electrical components.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Capability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
