Part-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Orthopedic / Pain Management / Med-Spa)

Location: Midland–Odessa, Texas

Compensation: Negotiable, based on experience

Schedule: Part-time (flexible scheduling available)

About Us

Permian Basin Accident & Injury Clinics & Permian Basin Med Spa are multidisciplinary clinics offering medical, chiropractic, orthopedic, pain management, and aesthetic services to the Midland–Odessa area. We focus on trauma, musculoskeletal injuries, regenerative medicine, and evidence-based care, supported by a collaborative, patient-centered team.

We are seeking an NP or PA with strong clinical experience in joint injections and orthopedic/pain management services to support our growing patient base. This role also offers opportunities to participate in wellness and aesthetic services.

Position Summary

The ideal candidate has substantial experience performing joint injections (e.g., shoulder, knee, hip, and other peripheral joints) in an orthopedic or pain-management setting. Comfort working with post-trauma and musculoskeletal patients is essential.

Additional interest or experience in med-spa and wellness services.

This position requires a positive attitude, excellent clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to educate and build rapport with patients. A growth mindset and willingness to engage in service promotion is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform musculoskeletal joint injections with confidence and proficiency
  • Conduct patient evaluations and follow-up examinations (post-accident, ortho, pain management)
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care plans
  • Order and interpret imaging or labs when appropriate
  • Conduct charting, documentation, and chart-auditing activities
  • Assist with regenerative and pain-management procedures (PRP, trigger-point injections, etc.)
  • Educate patients regarding treatments, care plans, and wellness programs
  • Support treatment plan sales and effectively recommend add-on or adjunctive services
  • Promote clinic services, specials, and wellness programs

Qualifications

  • Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Active Texas license required
  • Significant experience with joint injections – REQUIRED
  • Orthopedic or pain-management background strongly preferred
  • ACLS required
  • 1+ years preferred experience in any of the following:
  • PRP / regenerative procedures
  • Chart auditing experience preferred
  • DOT certification preferred (not required)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
  • Strong sales and patient-education skills
