Inside Sales Representative

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic lighting showroom sales team. We seek to start this position in a retail sales role and then work into the responsibilities: job shadowing current business accounts, managing current accounts, opening new accounts, nurturing client relationships, managing appointments, and closing sales through effective communication and negotiation strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in B2B or Retail Sales and have a passion for home and garden sales (Lighting, Electrical, Home Goods), utilizing CRM software to manage customer interactions and drive business development.
Duties
- Greeting retail customers
- Shadow existing staff members who handle business account sales
- Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, manage customer relationships, and maintain accurate records.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align strategies for lead generation and business development.
- Demonstrate technical knowledge of products to effectively address customer inquiries and provide solutions.
- Negotiate terms of sale with clients to maximize revenue while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Manage appointments
- Ability to visit job sites on a weekly basis
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales.
- Familiarity with CRM software, for managing customer interactions.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal, written, and email etiquette.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
- Not required but a plus, ability to read blueprints commercially and residentially.
- Not required but a plus, knowledge and experience in residential & commercial project take-offs, bidding process, understands .
