About the Opportunity

We are seeking an entrepreneurial Investment Operations Associate to join a fast-growing boutique wealth management firm serving ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients. The firm was founded by an experienced investment leader with a long history managing endowment-style portfolios for prominent families and foundations.

This role is ideal for a hands-on operations professional who thrives in a small, dynamic environment where you can wear multiple hats, take ownership of back-office functions, and play a key role in supporting investment reporting and client operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead quarterly balance sheet and performance reporting for clients using Addepar or similar financial reporting platforms.
  • Manage

    ash movement, including wires, transfers, capital calls, redemptions, and subscription documents for new investments.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations and oversee daily cash monitoring and forecasting.
  • Support the CIO in managing firm-level accounting, compliance, and back-office processes.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and their CPA firms, attorneys, and external advisors.
  • Assist with client projects in areas such as cash flow planning, investment allocation, budgeting, and estate coordination.
  • Maintain data accuracy across systems and contribute to improving internal workflows and controls.
  • Handle ad hoc requests such as donation wires, capital activity, or investor reporting.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in investment or accounting operations, ideally within a family office, RIA, or UHNW wealth management firm.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's in Accounting or CPA preferred.
  • Experience with Addepar or similar platforms (e.g., Black Diamond, Envestnet, Tamarac, Orion) strongly preferred.
  • Strong Excel and data management skills, including pivot tables and reconciliation reporting.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative team player who exercises sound judgment and maintains strict confidentiality.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in working in a growing, start-up-style environment.
