Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable Production Worker/Cleaning Person to support daily operations in our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment while assisting with basic production and material-handling tasks as needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and willing to work in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize production areas, equipment, and common workspaces to meet safety and cleanliness standards
  • Remove waste, scrap materials, and debris from the facility
  • Assist production staff with basic assembly or material handling tasks as required
  • Safely move materials, supplies, and finished products within the facility (forklift use if trained/authorized)
  • Operate basic hand tools and cleaning equipment
  • Perform routine inspections of work areas to identify safety or maintenance concerns
  • Help maintain an organized warehouse and production floor
  • Follow all company safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Qualifications

  • Ability to safely use hand tools, cleaning equipment, and power tools (training provided as needed)
  • Forklift experience is an asset but not required
  • Basic mechanical awareness is helpful but not mandatory
  • Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and as part of a team
  • Physically able to stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
