JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION: THERAPEUTIC BEHAVIORAL SPECIALIST

OVERVIEW

As a Therapeutic Behavioral Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing behavioral health support to individuals, including those with autism, PTSD, and other behavioral health conditions.

You will work closely with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to implement behavior management strategies and ensure the well-being of those under your care.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct data collection and analysis to assess patient behaviors and progress.
  • Provide patient care by implementing behavioral interventions tailored to individual needs.
  • Utilize medical documentation skills to maintain accurate records of patient interactions and progress.
  • Work with individuals with autism and PTSD to address their specific behavioral health needs.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with special education professionals to support patients in educational settings.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology related to behavioral health.
  • Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive outcomes for patients.
