Job description
Our Family Health Center (OFHC) is a fast-paced, growing primary care practice looking for Certified Medical Assistants that possess a strong work ethic and are passionate about patient care. Our current expansion has created the need for additional team members to support our increasing patient demand.
Applicant should be:
- A Certified or Registered Medical Assistant
- Skilled in patient triage and patient care,
- Able to work an 8-hour shift between 8 AM and 6 PM,
- Able to communicate professionally verbally and written,
- Able to accept constructive direction well,
- Adaptable to change,
- Detail oriented and well organized,
- Self-motivated,
- Dependable and punctual, and
- Eager to be part of a healthcare team.
Responsibilities include:
- Obtaining medical information from patient,
- Thoroughly entering all medical information in EMR,
- Assisting provider through patient appointment,
- Taking patient vitals,
- Administering injections and vaccinations,
- Venipuncture,
- Processing in-house labs and recording results for provider,
- Remaining compliant with all OFHC, HIPAA and other government policies and regulations,
- Cleaning exams rooms between patients,
- Preparing and stocking exam rooms at the end of day, and
- Other clinical duties as assigned.
- Scribe experience
- Pediatric experience
- eClinical Works EMR knowledge a plus
OFHC is a dynamic practice doing dynamic things in this everchanging world of healthcare.
Aside from typical office visits, OFHC offers allergy testing, allergy treatment, onsite imaging, massage, sleep studies, weight loss management and vein procedures.
