Qualifications

  • J.D. degree
    from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
  • Active member of the California State Bar.
  • Minimum
    4+ years of experience
    in employment litigation.
  • Demonstrated
    wage and hour class action
    experience is
    required.
  • Experience in
    employment counseling and client advisory work
    is strongly preferred.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Compensation

  • Base Salary Range:
    $250,000 – $275,000 (commensurate with experience).
  • Total Compensation Potential:
    $375,000 – $425,000+ including discretionary performance bonuses.
  • Additional origination bonuses available for self-sourced matters.

Labor & Employment Associate
to join its Los Angeles office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is passionate about employment law and wants to handle complex, high-impact litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and litigate
    employment cases
    , including
    wage and hour class actions
    , PAGA, and single-plaintiff matters.
  • Provide
    employment law advice and client counseling
    on compliance, policies, and risk mitigation.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses; take and defend depositions; and represent clients in court.
  • Collaborate with partners and clients on litigation strategy and case management.
  • (Preferred) Assist with traditional
    labor law matters
    , including union relations and collective bargaining.
