Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Preparation Worker to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of food items, ensuring that all meals are prepared according to established recipes and safety standards. Your contributions will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dining experiences for our guests in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare food items according to recipes and portion sizes.
  • Assist cooks and chefs in the cooking process, including washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and cleaning work surfaces.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure safe food handling practices.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of banquet or catering events as needed.
  • Support bussing duties during peak service times to ensure efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
  • Familiarity with food handling safety standards is a plus.
  • A passion for culinary arts and a desire to learn and grow within the industry.
