Broad Functions: Lead the overall coordination and planning of the daily operation including the development and training of the leadership team in order to achieve objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction; food quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Execute and deliver against the business strategy to drive rapid growth.
- Review ongoing staffing and budget guidelines in conjunction with financial statements.
- Develop and maintain an effective organization through the selection, training and evaluation of management and associate levels.
- Provides guidance and direction to management employees to assist in their professional development.
- Schedule labor as required by anticipated business activity while ensuring that all positions are staffed when and as needed and labor cost objectives are met.
- Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant's recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.
- Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant's preventative maintenance programs.
- Ensure that all products are received in correct unit count and condition and deliveries are performed in accordance with the restaurant's receiving policies and procedures.
- Union negotiations experience desirable.
- Knowledge and experience in employee relations issues including conflict in the workplace and investigations in partnership with the People, Talent and Culture Department.
- Develop, plan and carry out restaurant marketing, advertising and promotional activities and campaigns.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration: Hospitality or related field, Masters
- Degree a Plus.
- 5+ plus years' experience in progressive leadership experience in food and beverage and retail operations across multiple locations
- Ability to drive budget, market, risk and business analysis
- Ability to work effectively with multiple departments and diverse populations
- Be able to lead and motivate a team of associates to reach company goals
- Possess excellent strategic management skills
- Excellent oral and written Communication Skills
- Time Management, organization, planning, project management
- Guest Relations, Diplomacy and Professionalism
- Proficient in Microsoft office and other associated software.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- Possess excellent basic math skills and the ability to operate a cash register or POS system.
