DavidStar home care is looking for compassionate Home Health Aide to provide care in a patient's home.

You will help the patient with daily activities such as eating, dressing, toileting, etc. One of our skilled nursing nurses will train you on these activities. You should be able to perform the tasks well and ensure the patient receives the highest level of care in accordance with the scope of care provided by DavidStar home care.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Must be able to read and follow written instructions
  • Must be able to communicate with the patient and other caregivers
  • Must be able to follow instructions regarding meals, dressing, bathing, etc.
  • Must be able to remain in balance while exercising and must be able to give instructions on how to do exercises at the patient's side
  • Must be able to follow instructions regarding changing a patient's personal hygiene and eating
  • Must be able to give instructions on how to do these tasks and document it in a time record or other documentation system
  • Home Health Home Care Aide (HHA) License Renewal (Liason) (Preferred)

Must have current CPR certification

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
