Calibration Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Calibration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of measuring instruments used in various industrial applications. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to maintain and troubleshoot equipment effectively. The Calibration Technician will play a crucial role in supporting our quality assurance processes and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Duties
- Perform calibration of precision measuring instruments, ensuring they meet specified tolerances and standards.
- Utilize various tools, including ohmmeters and vision inspection systems, to detect discrepancies in measurements.
- Conduct routine maintenance on calibration equipment and assist in industrial maintenance tasks as needed.
- Interpret electrical schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues with calibration devices.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve calibration processes and implement best practices.
- Document all calibration activities accurately, maintaining detailed records for compliance purposes.
- Assist in training new staff on calibration procedures and the use of precision measuring instruments.
- Utilize Blockchain QR codes to track and provide customers with detailed asset histories helping our customers manage their equipment fleet.
- Conduct on-site equipment calibration services building relationships with customers across the United States.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Calibration Technician or in a similar role within an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation).
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and their calibration processes.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics related to electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
- Certification or training in industrial maintenance or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60, $70,000.00 per year
