Job Overview

Location preference is Harrisburg, PA.

The PJM is a "Mini General Manager" of New Product Development projects. The candidate should possess strong leadership and project management skills.

Responsibilities:

Take total ownership of one or more New Product Development projectsLead the Core Team toward a common objectiveManage resourcesEnsure the project is "staffed for success" Negotiate with functional managers and Project Approval Committee (PAC) to alleviate resource constraints as needed"Discipline the System" Ensure that the team are operating according to the development processKeep people focused on the matters at hand as well as their area of responsibilityReport out project status to PAC following contract dateBe proactive to take actions and get thing doneResolve conflict and controversial issues What your background should look like

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5-10 years working experience in project management area or equivalent

  • Manufacturing experience required

  • Leadership proven skills in leading, developing, and managing teams

  • Demonstrated Ability to create effective project plans, risk management, uncertainty management

  • knowledge of project management techniques and tools

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes

  • Knowledge of a matrix organization and how to navigate it

  • Project management expertise to drive time to market balanced with commitment to quality

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Good oral English

  • Qualification in project management or equivalent, PMP is preferred

COMPENSATION

•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $116,500 – 145,600 (subject to change dependent on physical location)

•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
