: Monday - Friday 10:30pm to 7:00pm

Job Summary:

The Coordinator EVS is responsible for guiding staff through the day-to-day operations in Environmental Services. This role coordinates staff and services related to cleaning and sanitization of all public and private spaces within the hospital including but not limited to Inpatient, Outpatient, Service and Administrative. Inspects and assures correct safety and sanitation procedures are being followed according to Infection control measures and CDC Guidelines. Will support leader with supply order and invoice process. Prepares daily staffing and assignment reports; prepares staff daily schedule under the supervision of the Leader, monitors and assigns tasks utilizing the EPIC EVS Command Center. Conducts orientation, training, staff coaching and annual competencies for department staff. Maintains and provides guidance to staff on regulations, policies, and procedures, escalating issues to management as appropriate.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

Previous experience in EVS or related field and proven customer service skills are required. A minimum of 3 years previous hospital/healthcare cleaning is preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and desire to provide customer service. Demonstrates exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Needs working knowledge of computers, printers, telephone, and calculator. Operating knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment such as washers, dryers, floor scrubbers, vacuums, and sanitizers is preferred. Proficiency in EVS EPIC Command Center, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Webex preferred.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:

Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) is preferred.
