Job Description:

The client is looking for a 6-10 yrs of experience. Supports IT by monitoring, managing, & optimizing the 911 data center's physical infrastructure.   Provides expertise to redesign the 911 data center/RF antenna sites as required based on industry standards.

Complete Description:

The client is needs to hire a resource that will be accountable for evaluating the electrical, environmental, and network capacity in the emergency 911 centers, associated remote site locations and ongoing operations. This resource will perform an assessment that will encompass identifying risks linked to potential outages affecting critical data, environmental conditions, or electrical services at each location. The assigned resource will consistently update existing risk mitigation strategies and alert protocols for critical routine and emergency maintenance services, supporting all 911 operations locations.

  • 16+ yrs. in progressive consulting leadership role, providing full lifecycle services in enterprise and government environments Required 16 Years
  • 16+ yrs. managing, coordinating, and establishing priorities for entire program/project lifecycle Required 16 Years
  • 15+ years of experience managing complex programs/projects Required 15 Years
  • 15 years of experience operating, data centers, networks and mission critical facilities (HVAC, emergency backup systems, electrical power Required 15 Years
  • 10+ years of experience with architectural design / remediation of new / existing industrial or commercial or other complex technical projects. Required 5 Years
  • 5+ years of experience with architectural design of mission critical projects. Required 5 Years
  • 5 years of experience in data center engineering. Required 5 Years
  • 5 years of experience designing and deploying data center infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling systems, rack and equipment layout. Required 5 Years
  • Experience in conducting regular rounds, inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of data center infrastructure to resolve issues. Required 15 Years
  • Experience managing data center construction & projects including coordinating with vendors and contractors, tracking progress, and meeting deadlines. Required 10 Years
  • 10 years of experience managing project scopes, schedules, and cost of work for data centers, IT networks, etc. Required 10 Year
  • Familiarity with data center industry standards and best practices, such as TIA-942, Uptime Institute Tier Standards. Highly desired 10 Years
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management or related field or equivalent experience Required
