As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related incidents or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Operate and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and follow all protocols for armed patrols as required by site policy.
• Document all activities, observations, and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders during incidents and drills.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and follow all post orders and procedures specific to the government location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
