In addition to the college's health center affiliation, the UF CVM is aligned strategically with the Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences and has strong ties with the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. The UF Veterinary Hospitals bring additional opportunities for clinical/translational research through a diverse and robust caseload of small, large, and exotic animal patients each year. CVM faculty are actively engaged in cross-disciplinary research programs which contribute in part to UF's consistent ranking among the nation's top ten public universities according to US News & World Report.
