Senior Systems Integration and Test Engineer

This position requires TS/SCI Clearance. Candidates who do not hold this clearance are not eligible for hire.

Solidus is hiring a a Senior Systems Integration and Test Engineer to join our SI&T team. In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T), we integrate, verify, and validate our products to ensure they work the first time—and every time. We assemble systems, test them in both lab and field environments, measure and analyze performance, and confirm that all components function seamlessly together. To accomplish this, we develop comprehensive plans and procedures, troubleshoot and evaluate system functions and interfaces, build test environments, and collaborate closely with our customers throughout the process.

This is an on-site role based in Richardson, TX.

Day in the Life:

• Work with a cross-disciplinary team of engineers who are leading the industry in ground systems solutions.
• Conduct integration and test activities as a member of an Agile Release Train (ART) team.
• Identify technical issues during software and hardware integration and collaborate with fellow engineers to drive solutions to closure.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts.
• Troubleshoot and debug system issues.
• Operate effectively within an Agile program environment.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• US Citizen with an active TS/SCI security clearance; with the ability to obtain a Polygraph after start.
• Undergo a comprehensive background investigation
• Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
• 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Systems integration and testing of software products in Agile, CI/CD environments
• Regression testing, test scripting, and/or test automation tools
• Troubleshooting and debugging software-based systems and products
• Experience with with Linux (Red Hat), Python, and/or Perl scripting

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment
• Experience with ground station and satellite domains (such as terrestrial data networking, command and telemetry, launch operations, flight dynamics, mission planning, on-orbit operations)
• CompTIA Security + or equivalent certification
• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
• In Test Automation experience (Cucumber, Gherkin, Zypher, SoapUI)
• Java, C++, or Python
• Experience with Linux operating system
• Experience in a Cloud environment
• AWS certification

Benefit selection, customer contractual specifications, relevant work experience, skills, competencies, certifications, and clearance status will influence the final salary.

Full benefits: $110,000 to $138,000 annually

Reduced benefits (no medical, dental, vision): Up to $149,000 annually
