Job Overview-Pest Control Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing pest control services for residential and commercial properties. This position requires a strong understanding of pest management techniques, as well as the ability to drive and operate various tools and machinery.

As part of Nature's Way Pest Control, we pride ourselves on using environmentally responsible methods that align with Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles. Our technicians are trained to minimize chemical use and prioritize sustainable solutions that protect both people and the planet.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and assess the extent of the problem
  • Develop and implement effective pest control plans tailored to individual customer needs
  • Apply appropriate pesticides and treatments safely and effectively, following all safety protocols and EPA guidelines
  • Provide recommendations to clients on preventative measures for pest control
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment details and customer interactions
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools as needed for various tasks related to pest management
  • Drive company vehicles to transport equipment and materials to job sites efficiently
  • Engage with customers in a professional manner, addressing their concerns and providing exceptional service

Physical Requirements

  • Must be capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting equipment (up to 50 lbs), bending, kneeling, and working outdoors in various weather conditions

Requirements

  • Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of sales techniques is a plus to help promote services effectively
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential for this role
  • Strong communication skills to interact with clients and provide excellent customer service
  • Must be detail-oriented with the ability to follow safety guidelines consistently

Pay Transparency

Our hourly pay rate can range from $20-22 per hour, additional to this we offer regular bonuses. Annual income potential of up to $65,000.00 inclusive of bonuses and commissions.
