Position: Pizza Maker

We're looking for a skilled, reliable, and team-oriented Pizza Maker to join the culinary team at Emily's Garden In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing handcrafted pizzas—especially our signature Roman-style pies—with consistency, creativity, and attention to detail. You'll work closely with our back-of-house crew to deliver exceptional food that reflects our commitment to quality and guest experience.

As a Pizza Maker, you'll handle everything from stretching dough and preparing toppings to baking pizzas in our specialized ovens and maintaining a clean, organized station. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, assemble, and cook pizzas according to our recipes and standards
  • Stock and maintain pizza station with fresh ingredients and supplies
  • Monitor oven temperature and pizza for consistency
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work area
  • Assist with prep work including sauces, toppings, and dough as needed
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen team and support smooth service flow
  • Follow all health, sanitation, and food safety guidelines

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience making pizza or working in a similar kitchen role
  • Experience with Roman-style, Neapolitan, or artisan pizza is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food consistency
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently during high-volume service
  • Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Understanding of proper dough handling, food safety, and sanitation
  • Positive attitude and a strong team spirit
