Position Overview
The Director of Training is responsible for leading the training staff, upholding Alloy's mission and core values, and overseeing the daily operations of the studio. This role blends hands-on coaching, leadership, sales execution, staff development, and operational oversight to ensure a high-quality client experience and consistent business performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Culture
- Uphold, model, and reinforce the mission, culture, and core values of Alloy Personal Training.
- Lead and facilitate all staff meetings.
- Set expectations for professionalism, accountability, and performance across the coaching team.
- Conduct quarterly employee performance evaluations.
Training & Client Experience
- Perform all Starting Point sessions and execute the Alloy sales system, including all required follow-up.
- Train clients a minimum of 10 hours per week.
- Review, guide, and approve weekly template workouts with the training staff.
- Ensure all trainers follow Alloy programming standards and coaching protocols.
- Conduct accountability sessions as needed and ensure proper follow-up with clients.
- Identify and communicate monthly with clients who have attended fewer than eight sessions in the past 30 days to improve retention and engagement.
Sales & Metrics
- Ensure the Alloy sales process is followed for all trial and prospective clients.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators—including leads, bookings, show rate, close rate, and attrition—using Mindbody.
- Maintain accurate reporting and use data to drive decisions related to sales, retention, and growth.
Operations & Administration
- Operate and manage the business a minimum of 30 hours per week.
- Oversee all general studio operations, including opening and closing procedures, cleanliness, and facility maintenance.
- Record and maintain accurate client information in the Alloy app.
- Create and manage staff schedules to ensure proper coverage and efficiency.
Marketing & Growth
- Oversee internal and external marketing initiatives.
- Maintain an active social media presence aligned with Alloy brand standards.
- Monitor and support local digital marketing campaigns to drive lead generation and brand awareness.
Staffing & Development
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and train new employees.
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and professional development to staff.
- Ensure team compliance with Alloy systems, standards, and policies.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $60,000 annually
- Bonus Opportunities: Eligible for performance-based bonuses when defined business and performance milestones are achieved (sales, retention, growth, and operational benchmarks).
