Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and retail sales, with a strong ability to engage with customers and promote products effectively. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, assisting customers with their needs, and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions accurately.
  • Engage in product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to customers.
  • Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable options.
  • Maintain an organized and visually appealing merchandise display through effective merchandising techniques.
  • Supervise junior staff members when required, providing guidance and support.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations within the store.

Skills

  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on enhancing the shopping experience.
  • Proficient in retail sales techniques, including upselling and merchandising strategies.
  • Experience with cashiering and cash handling procedures.
  • Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and team members effectively
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
