What you will do in this role:

• Utilizing standardized menus for setting up individual patient trays with required products.
• Utilizes standardized menus for setting up individual patient trays with required products.
• Maintains portion control using standardized menus.
• Maintains standards for sanitation in the preparation of all food products.
• Assembles serving line items for easy access.
• Sets up condiment area with food products, beverages, and required condiments appropriate for menus.
• Sets up condiment area with dishes, silverware, and other tray items as needed.
• Maintains equipment and work areas in a sanitary and safe condition.
• Adheres to schedules for all cleaning of all equipment and food preparation areas.
• Provides routine maintenance and care of all equipment with reporting of problems.
• Uses equipment effective and safe.
• Assembles and delivers items to patient care areas as needed to include:
• Performs other related duties as assigned by Dietitian.
• Follows standardized menus accurately in preparing all patient trays.
• Utilizes principles of infection control and sanitation in the preparation, serving, and storage of food products use in tray service.
• Utilizes appropriate safety and sanitation principles in the provision services.
• Utilizes appropriate body mechanics in the moving and lifting of supplies and equipment.
• Utilizes appropriate precautions related to infection control in relation to maintenance of equipment, supplies, the environment, and personal hygiene activities.
• Utilizes knowledge of standards for attractive food service in preparation of individual patient trays.
• Communicates effectively verbally and in writing to fulfill position responsibilities.

• Food Handlers/Safety, or ServSafe Food Protection Manager, or Food Safety Certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
