Northmarq was voted by Real Estate Forum as one of The Best Places to Work in Commercial Real EstateThis position requires a deadline driven, service focused and detail minded individual who would be responsible for leading a team of 3-5 employees in addition to administering a lesser size portfolio of loans according to Loan Portfolio Analyst job requirements. Additional responsibilities may be added to adapt to company growth (In line with department with goals and objectives).This position offers a flexible work environment and is available for an immediate start.Responsibilities:With some oversight from the Senior Manager, manage a team of 3-5 Loan Portfolio Analysts responsible for, but not limited to, borrower requests (lease approvals, maturity extensions, partial releases/substitutions of collateral, easements, condemnations, ownership transfers, loan assumptions, etc.), financial analysis, reserve disbursements, payment collection, and covenant monitoring.Provide premier customer service to lenders, borrowers, and regional offices in a friendly and professional manner.Plan and schedule own workload to efficiently meet benchmarks within the department.Create, distribute, and monitor reports to lenders and management to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.Responsible for oversight of assigned lender portfolios (Life Companies, or other investors), including maintaining effective business relationships, monitoring team tasks, quality control, lender feedback, and providing internal approval of write-ups/recommendations.Review and approve Loan Portfolio Analysts and Portfolio Manager's recommendations for releases of lender held reserves.Coach, direct and motivate staff through daily interaction and workload discussions.Develop, train, and assess the competency of staff; serve as a mentor as well as a resource of technical knowledge.Provide ongoing feedback to analysts regarding their development and goals as well as an annual performance review.Organize and coordinate monthly team meetings.Collaborate with department leadership and Human Resources to hire, retain, and develop staff.Build lender relationships through industry conference attendance, lender visits, and networking (limited travel
