Job Description
Join a dynamic team at a leading third-party logistics (3PL) company that specializes in storing and shipping freight for various companies. As an Inventory Specialist, you will play a vital role in managing inventory efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of four to manage and oversee inventory processes.
- Look up item numbers, print orders, and process them through the system for different accounts/customers.
- Conduct physical counts and verify inventory in the warehouse to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and track down orders to resolve any discrepancies in inventory counts.
- Perform stock and inventory movements and make necessary adjustments on the computer.
- Work independently with a set of numbers to be accounted for within a specified timeframe.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including email communication with customers.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Experience in order processing, inventory control, cycle counts, and shipping & receiving.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- High School Diploma required.
- Experience in a logistics, transportation, or distribution setting is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The role is based in an office setting where you will work alongside four other Inventory Specialists. The environment is collaborative and fast-paced, providing an engaging atmosphere to develop your skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, Tennessee.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $ $17.86/hr.
