RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a UX Designer II remotely in Philadelphia, PA.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead discovery initiatives to understand user needs, market signals, and organizational constraints to identify innovation opportunities
  • Apply Innovation Design methodologies-including AI-augmented research and prototyping-to address complex challenges and maintain alignment with project timelines
  • Develop multi-method testing plans in partnership with researchers, incorporating both qualitative and quantitative evidence
  • Synthesize insights across user, customer, and business lenses to form actionable strategies focused on AI-enhanced user experiences
  • Facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions exploring how Generative AI can enhance concepts and unlock new value propositions
  • Present key findings, opportunities, and risks to stakeholders at multiple levels, including executive leadership
  • Advocate for user-centered design and responsible AI practices
  • Mentor peers in Innovation Design methods and experimentation with GenAI-enabled workflows

Strategic Design:

  • Apply methodologies such as Design Thinking or Lean Startup to uncover insights and validate product propositions, integrating AI where beneficial
  • Partner with UX Researchers to accelerate synthesis, research, and testing through AI-supported methods
  • Contribute to long-term product strategy with a focus on scalable, differentiated solutions powered by AI

Creative Problem Solving:

  • Engage stakeholders to promote creativity, alignment, and growth through product innovation approaches
  • Confidently challenge assumptions and illuminate areas where GenAI can transform the user experience
  • Foster a collaborative environment that supports responsible experimentation and diverse perspectives

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience or exposure to GenAI-supported research, design, or prototyping
  • Experience with modern design tooling (Figma, Sketch)
  • Demonstrated experience as a UX or Innovation Designer leading cross-functional, time-bound initiatives
  • Strong understanding of Generative AI technologies and their design implications
  • Familiarity with general AI tools (ChatGPT, Notebook LM, Midjourney) and specialized AI-driven design tools (Lovable, Cursor, etc.) preferred
  • Familiarity with Agile processes and user-centered design practices
  • Proficiency with tools such as Figma, Sketch, Axure
  • Strong business literacy and ability to operate within large, complex organizations

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
