As a Security Guard - Lobby Concierge in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a prominent commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact, helping to create a welcoming atmosphere while monitoring entry points and assisting visitors. Your role includes providing exceptional customer service, responding to security-related incidents, and maintaining clear communication with building occupants. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verify identification, and authorize entry for employees, visitors, and vendors as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of visitor check-ins, deliveries, and other front desk activities.
• Communicate professionally with building management, tenants, and/or vendors to address inquiries or concerns.
• Support emergency response activities by following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activities by maintaining a visible presence at the front desk.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
