Company Overview

We're part of a rapidly growing national franchise providing trusted pet sitting, dog walking, and mobile dog grooming services. Our local San Diego team is expanding, and we're looking for caring and reliable Pet Sitters & Dog Walkers (PSDW) to help serve clients in their own neighborhoods.

This is a part-time, flexible position—ideal for animal lovers who want to earn extra income while working close to home. Hours may be initially limited but could increase over time.

Job Description

As a Pet Sitter & Dog Walker, you may perform one or more of the following services, based on your preferences and availability:

Available Roles:

  • Pet Sitting Visits: Provide care (feeding, walks, playtime, clean-up) for pets whose owners are away. Some clients request multiple visits per day.
  • Overnight Pet Sitting (Optional): Stay in a client's home overnight to care for their pets while they are out of town.
  • Bed & Biscuit Hosting (Optional): Welcome a client's dog into your own pet-friendly home during their travel.
  • Mid-Day Dog Walking: Walk dogs while clients are at work. We currently anticipate potential assignments in Chula Vista, National City, La Mesa and El Cajon for recurring walks on multiple days per week.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Flexible scheduling: accept assignments based on your availability
  • Work near your home whenever possible
  • Limited hours that may grow over time as client demand increases.
  • Pay is per visit, based on assignment type and length (details provided during interview)

Qualifications

  • Passion for animals and reliable care experience (personal or professional)
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Smartphone with data plan for app-based scheduling and client updates
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Pet-friendly home (if interested in Bed & Biscuit hosting)
  • Overnight availability (if interested in overnight assignments)
