Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) serves as the primary point of contact between the company and its customers. This role is responsible for managing customer inquiries, coordinating logistics, expediting orders, and ensuring timely and accurate communication throughout the order fulfillment process. The CSR works closely with internal teams—including production, shipping, and sales—to deliver exceptional service and maintain strong customer relationships.

• Customer Communication:
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other channels.
  • Provide accurate information regarding product availability, order status, lead times, and shipping details.
• Order Management:
  • Enter and maintain customer orders in the ERP system with precision and attention to detail.
  • Monitor order progress and proactively communicate any delays or changes to customers.
• Logistics Coordination:
  • Collaborate with shipping and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Arrange expedited shipments when necessary and track delivery status.
• Problem Resolution:
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to orders, shipments, or billing in a timely manner.
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments while maintaining ownership of customer communication.
• Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and service requests.
  • Prepare reports on order status, backlogs, and customer feedback as required.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with production planning, inventory control, and sales teams to align customer expectations with operational capabilities.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience:2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and order management processes.
  • Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

This is a Permanent position based out of Wauwatosa, WI.

The pay range for this position is $ $ /yr.
