Hospital Overview: Grand Montecito Animal Hospital is looking for a License Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our team. We are a six-doctor family-oriented practice which strives to provide outstanding quality care to our patients and clients. Position Overview: Potential candidates will have a genuine love and passion for animals, a stellar work ethic, be an extremely motivated team player, and thrive in a fast paced environment. Time management and the ability to multi-task is essential.
Must have experience with administering injections and oral medications, placing IV catheters, drawing blood samples for processing in-house and/or for external labs, proper radiograph positioning, restraining animals, meeting the nursing needs of hospitalized and surgical patients, interacting with and educating clients, and performing various light housekeeping duties for hospital maintenance.
Applicants must be available to work weekends, and holiday hours as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
