About Us:

McLeod Construction is a high-volume Seattle-based General Contractor specializing in condominium remediation across the Puget Sound region. We work closely with building consultants and property managers to deliver expert solutions in building envelope repairs, interior restoration, and water mitigation.

We are looking for a Project Assistant to support our senior project managers in executing construction projects efficiently and within budget. If you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and are eager to grow within the construction industry, this role is for you

What You'll Do:

  • Draft and submit material submittals for approval
  • Obtain permits from local city planning departments
  • Prepare job cost takeoffs for new bids
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure seamless execution
  • Develop Operations & Maintenance manuals for clients
  • Deliver materials to job sites and assist with on-site tasks (including ladder work for measurements/photos)
  • Run occasional errands to support project operations

What We're Looking For:

  • Construction experience or a certificate in construction management is preferred (but not required for the right candidate)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
  • A proactive, adaptable attitude – You're ready to jump in and handle shifting priorities
  • Ability to learn quickly – You're not afraid to ask questions and take initiative
  • Tech-savvy mindset – Willingness to learn construction scheduling and project tracking software
  • Strong communication skills – You can interact effectively with team members, subcontractors, and external stakeholders
  • Problem-solving mentality – You take ownership and find solutions, not just problems
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized – You can manage multiple tasks efficiently

  • A competitive salary between $60,000 and $70,000 depending on experience - with opportunities for quarterly and year-end bonuses
