Duties

  • Prepare and serve food items efficiently following established recipes and safety standards
  • Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and payment handling
  • Manage cash handling duties accurately, including cashiering and balancing registers
  • Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities while maintaining a friendly demeanor
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Assist with bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring the restaurant remains inviting and organized
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met
  • Support team members during busy periods by multitasking across various roles such as serving, cashiering, or food prep

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
  • Experience with food preparation, cashiering, or serving in a restaurant or café setting is advantageous
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments with excellent customer service skills

Pay: $ $16.00 per hour
