JOB SUMMARY

Join our team as a Take Out specialist This is an exciting opportunity to provide prompt, friendly, and professional assistance to our valued customers in person and over the phone. As a member of our team, you'll be responsible for operating cash drawers, using the POS system, and ensuring that all orders are accurately prepared and sold. The Retail position offers a variety of engaging roles focused on selling to-go orders.

Serving or Cashiering experience preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all safety, sanitation, policy, and alcohol beverage control policies.
  • Greet guests in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner on the phone or in person.
  • Extensive knowledge of the food, drink, and specials menus.
  • Accurately take, ring in, compile, and deliver orders to the customers' specifications.
  • Able to use the POS systems with efficiency.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction with products and services.
  • Conduct all monetary transactions with attention to detail.
  • Handle, store, date, and rotate all products properly.
  • Promptly report equipment and food quality issues to a manager.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with all persons in the restaurant.
  • Complete all opening, closing, and side duties.
  • Work as a team with your fellow co-workers and treat each other with kindness and respect.

Requirements:

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older with a current TAPS Card and Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card. Previous serving or bartending experience is preferred but not required.

Skills, Abilities & Work Conditions

  • Stand for the duration of the shift with minimal breaks
  • Work in noisy, fast-paced environments with distracting conditions
  • Lift and carry 30+ lbs
  • Have good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
  • Bend, reach, stoop, and move quickly
  • Work in close proximity to coworkers in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivation and the ability to manage time and accomplish tasks with accuracy and efficiency
  • Basic knowledge of alcoholic beverage terminology
