Position Summary We are seeking a Medically Integrated Dispensing (MID) Technician to join our team and play a vital role in bridging patients, providers, and pharmacy services. In this role, you will support the safe and accurate dispensing of medications, coordinate prior authorizations, navigate insurance benefits, and improve the overall patient experience for those living with chronic or complex health conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prescription Processing & Dispensing Support – Accurately enter patient/prescription data, prepare and label medications, and assist with inventory management while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Patient Engagement & Support – Serve as a point of contact for patients, assisting with refills and pickups  Insurance & Financial Navigation – Complete benefit verifications, prior authorizations, and identify secondary coverage or manufacturer assistance programs to reduce patient out-of-pocket costs.
  • Provider & Care Team Coordination – Act as a liaison between providers, pharmacists, and patients to resolve coverage restrictions and ensure continuity of care.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required
  • Active Certified or Registered Pharmacy Technician license in Nevada
  • 2–3 years of pharmacy or healthcare experience  Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills with patients, providers, and care teams. Preferred Qualifications  Bachelor's degree
  • Dispensing technician license from the Nevada State Board of Pharmacy  Experience in specialty pharmacy, particularly with neurology medications  Familiarity pharmacy software (e.g., PioneerRx, Liberty)
  • Experience in direct patient care within a clinical setting  Proficient in Spanish  Technologically proficient and eager to learn new systems Benefits  Competitive salary and benefits package
