Good Shepherd Fence Company, LLC. is looking for one AMAZING team member looking to join Team GSFC has an Gate Welder/Fabricator This full-time hourly paid, overtime eligible (+ bonus) position will work under the direction of the Weld Department Manager. This individual will be responsible for the gate production and fabrication projects as well as other duties assigned.

• Work Experience Related experience in tube and pipe fabrication (Preferred)
• Education High school or equivalent Vocational training is a huge plus Job
• Responsibilities Positive focused approach and attitude

• Shop safety regulations
• Organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates effective communication skills both oral and written
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings and specifications Use precision measuring instruments
• Operate hand tools and other shop equipment such as grinders, positioners etc.
• Perform lay out, fit-up and assembly of each task
• Weld multiple materials utilizing numerous weld processes
• Monitor and maintain proper cleanliness of machines and work area
• Experience:
• Shop Welding 3 Year (Preferred)
• Construction: 3 year (Preferred)

Requirements:

• Willingness to have fun and make history
• Must have a valid driver's license*
• Prior fence building, construction, or welder/fabricator experience preferred.*
• Must Pass Welding Test
• Mig and Tig Steel Needed
• Aluminum Welding Needed - Willing to train ***
• Proven experience working as a welder/fabricator.
• Working knowledge of power tools, construction tools, and equipment.
• The ability to interpret job bids and determine necessary: tools, supplies, and equipment needed.
• Regularly required to move around, use hands, use feet to walk, stand for long periods of time, and push/pull/lift/move up to 75+ pounds unassisted.
• Outstanding leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Preferred CPR and basic first aid certifications.
