Maintenance Technician III

Location: Summer Bay Orlando by Exploria Resorts
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician III will report directly to the Chief of Engineering. This position's role is to maintain all guestrooms and public areas to the utmost satisfaction of our guests and Exploria Company standards. Maintenance Technician III must also be proficient in all requirements of Maintenance Technician II.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Proficient in all requirements of Tech I and Tech II
- Repairs boilers, plumbing, pumps, exhaust fans, and HVAC equipment.
- Completes maintenance and facilities tasks from work orders.
- Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
- Repair and maintain the physical structure of the establishment.
- Ability to operate electrical hand tools.
- Provide customer service to fellow team members, owners, and guests.
- Respond to calls and questions from members, owners, and guests.
- Conduct proper building rounds and maintain proper records and documentation.
- Completes special projects.
- Completes all required Company training and compliance courses as assigned.
- Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities, maintenance, or related field is required or 2 years of vocational school
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- A/C Knowledge - Experience or schooling
- HVAC certification is a plus
- Knowledge of maintaining, cleaning, and chemically balancing pools, spas, and water features as directed is preferred.
- Must be punctual, dependable, and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work under pressure and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Physical Demands:
- Work outdoors for extended periods of time
- Constant standing with some walking.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up 50 pounds
