About the Role

We are seeking an experienced
Oracle Fusion Functional Consultant
with deep expertise in
Oracle Cloud Financials, PPM, Payroll
and significant exposure to
Engineering & Construction business processes
. You will play a key role in the full lifecycle implementation, configuration, optimization, and support of Oracle Fusion applications for large-scale enterprise clients.

This role requires strong business process understanding, excellent client communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering Oracle Fusion solutions in complex, cross-functional environments.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle Fusion Implementation & Support

  • Lead requirements gathering, process design, and solution architecture for Oracle Fusion Financials, PPM, and Payroll modules.
  • Configure Oracle Fusion applications including but not limited to:
  • Financials:
    General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management
  • PPM:
    Project Financial Management, Costing, Billing, Budgeting
  • Payroll:
    U.S. Payroll setup, Processing, Integrations with HR/Benefits/Time & Labor
  • Engineering & Construction:
    Project planning, Cost Controls, Earned Value Management, Contract and Change Management
  • Perform gap analysis, document functional specifications, and recommend best-practice solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer activities with business stakeholders.

Project Delivery

  • Drive end-to-end Oracle Cloud implementation across multiple modules.
  • Develop detailed test plans, execute system integration tests, and support UAT.
  • Provide post-go-live hypercare and ongoing support to ensure system stability.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on interfaces, integrations, custom reporting, and data migration.

Business Partner Engagement

  • Partner with Finance, HR/Payroll, Project Controls, E&C Operations teams to understand business requirements and translate them into Oracle-based solutions.
  • Provide thought leadership to improve financial, payroll, and project operations leveraging Oracle Fusion capabilities.
  • Ensure alignment with organizational goals, compliance standards, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

Core Functional Skills

  • 8+ years
    of Oracle Fusion functional experience with hands-on configuration and delivery.
  • Expertise in
    Oracle Cloud Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM)
    .
  • Demonstrated working experience in
    Oracle Fusion PPM
    including Project Costing, Billing, Contract Management, and Budgeting.
  • Strong experience with
    Oracle Payroll (U.S.)
    , integrations with HCM, Time & Labor, and tax/regulatory compliance.
  • Proven background in
    Engineering & Construction project environments
    , including project financials, cost control, and change order processes.

Technical & Integration Skills

  • Experience with Oracle Data Migrations, FBDI/ADFdi, OTBI, and financial reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, integrations via Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), or middleware.
  • Understanding of security models, approval workflows, and system controls.

Professional Skills

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with business and technical stakeholders.
